The graph below shows the proportion of four different materials that were recycled from 1982 to 2010 in a particular country.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The line graph below give the information of the the proportion of paper and cardboard, glass containers, alumininium cans and plastics that were recycled from 1982 to 2010 in a particular country.
Generally, recycling rate for paper and cardboard were reduced, however percentage of plastics, glass containers and alumininium cans were raised. Besides, rate for paper or cardboard was the most highly in line chart. In addition, proportion of plastics was the most lowest in chart.
Percent of glass containers raised from 40 to 60 percent. Especially, proporation of alumininium cans raised about 5 to 40 percent.
From 1990 to 2010, percentage of glass containers, alumininium cans and plastics raised. From 1982 to 1990, percent of paper and cardboard up and down from 65 to 70 but in 1994, rate for it raised about 80 percent. Then, it reduced for 70 percent in 2010.

Question

Write about the following topic:

Learning English at school is often seen as more important than learning local languages. If these are not taught, many are at risk of dying out.

In your opinion, is it important for everyone to learn English? Should we try to ensure the survival of local languages and, if so, how?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.
