In the society, some people said that learning English at study environment is more important than local speak. From my point of view, I agree about this idea, but not at all.
On the one hand, learning English is good for population, especially young generations. Firstly, English is a common language in the world. When the world are more and more develops, English are more significant. For example, when study or work in overseas, english language is the best tools for citizens to use. Moreover, almost countries use English to communicate, so the way of study English is extremely essential to get on well with community.
On the other hand, unacceptable that maintain local languages is necessary nowadays. Native tongues represent of ones country’s culture. It is like the mother tongues that everyone must be remember in the life. Then, I think older people is familiar with their local languages more than English, because in the past it is quite difficult to have modern means of study English. Additionally, ensure the survival of local languages is the best way help young citizens to patriotic and conscious of protecting local culture. The government should be organize many cultural exchange programs between localities, about languages ​​and ethnic voices to preserve local languages.
In conclusion, undeniable that learning English is important for all of population thanks to the benefits it is bring in many fields such as communicate, study and work. Besides that, save the local languages is extremely needful to preserve country’s culture.
