Task 1
Question

The graph below shows the proportion of four different materials that were recycled from 1982 to 2010 in a particular country.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

Answer

The given line graph depicts the percentage of four materials recycling every 4 years, starting in 1982 and ending in 2010.
Overall, it is obvious that the figure for all of materials saw an upward trend over the period. Moreover, paper and cardboard was the highest proportion of recycled. While the oposite was true for plastic over the years.
Looking at the chart in detail, starting in 1982, the percentage of paper and cardboard was 65%, higher than the figure for glass containers by 15%. Howerver, there was not detail for alumini nium cans and plastics because of having not recycled at that time. From 1986 to 1990, the proportioin of paper and cardboard was fluctuated while there was a gradual decreasing in the figure for glass containers. Besides, the percentage of aluminium cans and plastics was emerged with only 5%. After 4 years, parer and cardboard had the highest percentage of recycling at 80%, higher than each others at 50%, 15% and 6% respectively.
From 1998 to 2010, while the proportion of aluminium cans grown dramatically to 45%%, the figure for glass containers and plastics climbed slowly to 60% and 10%. Nevertheless, the percentage of paper and cardboard were recycled witnessed a period of stagnation

Write about the following topic:

Learning English at school is often seen as more important than learning local languages. If these are not taught, many are at risk of dying out. 

In your opinion, is it important for everyone to learn English? Should we try to ensure the survival of local languages and, if so, how?

 

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Answer

English currently was the most popular language was spoken in the whole. Therefor, learning English play an important role for students in particular to development themself and everbody for general. Some people argue that learing english is more crucial than local langauges. From my point of view, I personally deny the opinion in spite of the neccesary of English.
On the one hand, This language is extremly important for anybody. Knowing English can bring plenty of opportunity for people. Firstly, students can broaden knowleges in the world, look up useful information, have chance to study abroad. For example, in Viet Nam, English might be a better way to apply for students to dream university.
Secondly, in all most of company requires staff have English skills to deal with proplems and uncoorparative with forigner bussiness, have chance to comunicate and learning outsides. In addition, manager also evelate and promote salary for them.

On the other hand, mother languages have played an vital role in our lifestyle of people since they was born. For instance, Vietnamese people always proud with them country. They love about traditional, custome, people, natural and also language. Vietnam accent is amazing and beautiful, they always repect and grateful about that. Therefor, they do not want to ensure them language by any things, Vietnamese people must know Vietnamese. It also inspired for many people and country to preserve us beautiful local languages. It is important and being our symbolic of each countries.

In conclusions, it is crucial for students to learning English at school. Besides, people also should protect local languages and develop English in our life.
