The graph below shows the proportion of four different materials that were recycled from 1982 to 2010 in a particular country.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Answer

The line graph provide information about the percentage of four different materials, including paper and cardboard, glass containers, alumininium cans and plastics, which were recycled between 1982 and 2010.
Overall, most of the proportion of four materials saw an increase throughout of the period. Additionally, paper and cardboard made up the highest percentage of rating recycle.
There was fluctuated from 65 percent to 80 percent of paper and cardboard in eight years, after which it saw a significant decrease at the end of the period, at 70 percent. By contrast, the figure for glass containers which were recycled to decreased in the eight first years, followed by an remarkable rise to 60 percent in 2010.
Regarding to alumininium cans, the proportion of rating for reuse made up just 5 percent in 1986, after reaching a peak of around 45 percent at the end of the period. As the same patern, less figure of plastics experienced a slightly increase from 4 percent in 1990 to approximately 10 percent in 2010.

Learning English at school is often seen as more important than learning local languages. If these are not taught, many are at risk of dying out. 

In your opinion, is it important for everyone to learn English? Should we try to ensure the survival of local languages and, if so, how?

Answer

Some people think that English at school play an important role in develop mindset for children more than local languages, while others believe that if these are not remained, the risk of dying out will increase. In my opinion, learning english actually essential for children, it also need to teach about local languages.
On the one hand, children who early access to English environment will have more opportunities to build new relationships and get closer connection with friends from all over the world. For example, in VietNam, through social media or platforms where students can communicate with and exchange a variety of knowledge about culture and tradition with their friends. This lead to they know a new language, it also bring for them more chances to study and glean valuable information. Besides, promoting the cooperation of other nations where most of citizens have used English as a official languages. For instance, Korean’s student who are good at using english to study abroad especially in the United State, creating a connection between government in Korea and United States, resulting in promoting the cooperation and development of not only education but also economic growth, even policial.
However, local languages also play an significant role for each citizens. There are several solution to ensure the survival of mother tongues. First of all, parents are willing to educate and teach for their children about the importance of local languages, raising the awearness of valuable language. Additionally, school must to combine other subjects, using local languages to safeguard the accurately using of students.
In conclusion, while people think that studying english have some advantages about gain new understandings and affect in benefits of nations, it is noticed to pay attention these solution to improve and ensure the preservance of local langages.
