The graph below shows the proportion of four different materials that were recycled from 1982 to 2010 in a particular country.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Answer

The paper and cardboard is the most popular material be used in recycling. This material is very stable and friendly with environment. However, paper production can affecting forest. Many paper are produces, many forests were cut. Therefore, this rate has many fluctuations. It alternately increased and decreased, and is currently decreasing.
The rate of glass containers is higher the rate of aluminium cans.
In the 90s, the recycling rate of aluminium cans was as low as the recycling rate of plastics but in the early 2000s, this rate has a great change. The rate increased evenly from less than 10 percents to more than 40 percents.
The rate of recycling plastics is the lowest and the most stable rate because this material is difficult to decompose. This material exists hundred or thousand years in the environment before completely disappear the earth.

Learning English at school is often seen as more important than learning local languages. If these are not taught, many are at risk of dying out.

In your opinion, is it important for everyone to learn English? Should we try to ensure the survival of local languages and, if so, how?

In my opinion, it is both important for everyone to learn English and local languages. English become a obligatory subject at school. It is a popular and common language nowaday so learning English is very necessary. It provide a link between different nations all over the world. Whether you are fluent in English or not, you can communicate with every if two of you know English a little bit. Another advantage of learning English is that it facilitates the learning of other languages. Some studies shown that learning languages becomes easier after learning the second language. Further, the ability to communicate in English will be a great thing in your resume. When you good at English, you have a chance to get a better work, higher positon and higher salary.
You were bornt and grown up in a place where you call your hometown and this place have its own language. Forgetting the local language means you forget your origin, your childhood and that is unacceptable. When you spell,you speak, you write local language you feel the closeness and warm. Morever, this language bring more comfortable and familiar feeling with your family, neighborhood. Sadly, learing local language is being distracted nowaday. To avoid that dangerous incident, local government should promote this language education for everyone especially young generation. Local language must become an obligatory subject at school. Local organizations can also arrange some competitions related to this language to help everyone at any age will remember and better understanding about local language.
