The graph below shows the proportion of four different materials that were recycled from 1982 to 2010 in a particular country.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Answer

The graph indicates the number of different selected materials from 1982 to 2010. Overall, it is obvious that the type of paper and cardboard was common than the other types among people.
In 1982, around 50% glass containers which used by people slightly decreased 10 percent before rosed back to a peak in 1994. This type continuously stabilized until reach 60% in the last year of the period. At the same period of the timeframe, the percentage of people who used paper and card board peaked 70 percent before surged nearly 80% in 1994, it then dramatically fell back in 2010.
Unfortunately, people who chose Aluminium cans started from 5% in the first year and stable soared to around 50% in the following year. While the rate of using plastics only slightly increased from 2% in 1990 to over 10 percent in 2010.

Learning English at school is often seen as more important than learning local languages. If these are not taught, many are at risk of dying out. 

In your opinion, is it important for everyone to learn English? Should we try to ensure the survival of local languages and, if so, how?

In modern life, it is crucial for people to learn a second language at school such as English which seen as more necessary than learning local languages. This essay will discuss about the issue before giving a balanced – conclusion.
Learning English brings a number of opportunities to improve people’s lives. Firstly, accessing a second language at school through academic programs or teacher’s speech help people enhance their communication skills. Moreover, they have the chance to open their mind about the world when connecting with peers or foreign friends. English is a vital tool for people to learn more about the culture and tradition of other countries. Additionally, people who develop their English skills may find jobs with high income due to the requirement of offices or society. As a result, starting with English is a big step for people in the future to have more opportunities to work and study in the ideal environment instead of mastering in a local languages.
However, learning English only at school also put people at risks. if people focus a lot of attention on English, they can loose the origin of their country, including the tradition and culture that preserved among generations. There are many scriptures and books which written by in local languages that are full of knowledge and wisdom. For instance, in Ireland learning environment Irish in school is optional and it is not available in every school and just a few native speaker who are able to speak in Irish because the common of using English. Nevertheless, in many crucial exams in high schools, English certificate supported young people to enter the top rank university with high scores.
