The graph below shows the proportion of four different materials that were recycled from 1982 to 2010 in a particular country.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Answer

The given line graph illustrates the percentage of four different materials that having recycled in over 28 years since 1982. The materials had been recycled such as paper and carboard, glass containers, alumininium cans, and finally was plastics
Paper and cardboard was observed to be the highest stuff (around 70%) to be recycled. Even though between 1986 and 1990 there was a steady decline but after 1990 it recognized the top with 80% had recycled and then gradually decrease. As same as cardboard, glass containers ranked at 2nd with around 50 percent being recycled every year. It had seen a quite decline at first (1982-1990) and then it had a generally rise.
Unlikely glass and paper, cans and plastics in there fisrt year did not expect to recycle . But after the year 1986, alumininium cans had seen a significant upgrade till the end of the line chart (over 40%) . Otherwise, plastics was just around under 10%

Question

Write about the following topic:

Learning English at school is often seen as more important than learning local languages. If these are not taught, many are at risk of dying out.

In your opinion, is it important for everyone to learn English? Should we try to ensure the survival of local languages and, if so, how?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Nowadays, English gets to be seemed like a languages of the world. Without language it hard for you to communicate with other people who are foreign. That is also the reason why English is such a popular subject in school than the other language. And in my point of view, I believe that it is necessary for everyone to learn English.
English is not a language, it is also a opportunity for you to have a better job. Right now, in my country – a developing country, many companies would love to hire you if you have more than one language and it is more great if the language you can speak is English. With English you can communicate and have such a bond friendship with friends from another country. This language also help you to have more information around the world if you are into any fields that maybe in your country there is rarely people have reasearches about it.
On the other hand, I have to say it is pretty hard for most people to be fluently in a language that is not there mother tongue. It demands a hard-working and practicing without relentless. And in many undeveloped country, English is not the language that you can speak with local people.
To sum up, learning a new language never a disadvantage, it will always a potential for you to have many great opportunity in your life. And if you have enough time, you should learn English because this language is really popular right now in many countries
