the given chart display the percentage of recyling put into four different group between 1982 and 2010.

Looking from general perspective, the data for paper & cardboard is always the highest. the opposite can be said for that of Lastics. It is obvious that the data for glass containers experienced the largest increase.

at the first year of period, the figure for paper & cardboard stood at nearly 65% and was 15% more than that of glass containers. After the following eight years, 1990 witnessed the figures for both Paper & cardboard and glass containers hit the low at 65% and 40% respectively. In 1994, the data for paper & cardboard peaked at 80%, 30% higher than that for glass containers. Throughout period of 16 year starting from 1994 to 2010, the rate of paper & cardboard drop constantly by 10% from 80% to 70%. On the contrary, that of glass containers rose by 10% from 50% to 60%.

To refer to remaining factor, the rate of Alumininium cans began to appear in 1988 at 5% while that of plastics started to occur in 1988 at 5%. From those starting ponits, the percentage of both former and latter grow constantly. Untill 2010, the rate of al stood at 60% and that of plastics accounted for 45%

It is believed that student should focus on learning english much more than learning local languges because english is more important. in my opinion, i partly agee with that statement.

in this essay, i will discuss both aspect of problem and also give my solutions to conserve survival of local languages.

I assumed that english is the useful tool in this global era, the better you are in english, the more opportunities and relations you get in work and life . For example you can easily impress the employee, boss and business partner by communicate fluently by english to get the fabulous job, advance or important contract that you want. Moroever, being good at english allow you to discovery and understand other cultures in the world, it expand your circle social and broaden your mind about the life. It is evident that you can read and understand beneficial documents written in english like video, book, podcast,…etc. In general, english is a powerful arm to achieve success.

As i mentioned above, english is a powerful arm so the local languge is the other arm. mother tongue or local languge allow us to integrate to society and community, we certainly have many difficulites in living, studying and making relations without local languge. Take example, it is hard to acquire knowledge of subject even english in class for us because most of teacher uses local language to teach. In addition, you become isolated from surrounding people because both you and them don’t understand language of each other. the similar thing also happen in your work, domestic fellow, superior, partner wont’t coomperate with you because they scare that language misunderstand will create complication in projects.

In conclusion, i appreciate advantages english bring but those advantage can’t make up for drawback of weakeness in local language. consequently, i suppose student should consider learning local language and english equally. I also propose several solutions to maintain the survival of local languages.

firsty, local school and goverment should deploy activities and competitions relatived to discover and study about beauty and diversity of local languages for student.

secondly, the parents or people are in charge of children should contact with children more by local languages and dont’t put the pressure of being good in english on children.
