Answer

The graph below shows the proportion of four different materials that were recycled from 1982 to 2010 in a particular country. From this graph, we can see that the rate of three materials: glass containers, aluminium cans, and plastics were recycled has been increasing. Otherwise, the recycling of paper and cardboard didn’t constantly go up and has been decreasing at the end of 2010. The Plastic material has been increasing but not too much and it has been increasing least of the others: glass containers and aluminium cans. The fastest increasing rate is aluminium cans. They have been going up very quickly and didn’t decrease anytime. Besides, the glass containers had a short time decrease. That was from 1986 to 1990 and then it has been increasing constantly. Finally, the paper and cardboard only increased in 2 stages. One was from 1982 to 1986 and another was from 1990 to 1994. Since then, it has been decreasing. In short, there were 3 materials that were recycled more than paper and cardboard: glass containers, aluminium cans and plastics.

Answer

Nowadays, English is becoming more and more popular for everyone all over the globe. It has been using not only at schools but also in the workplace and more. Besides, there have been many English centres and schools that educate English children of all ages and levels. And they also have been becoming more and more
common. Then, people have been trying to catch up with the world by learning English and haven’t been interested in local languages anymore. We can’t deny the benefits of learning English and the opportunities that it brings to us but what would we do to balance our time to learn both English and local languages? First, we should arrange our time to learn both of them because the beauty of language is unlimited, so we can study them to develop our language use and communication skills. For example, we can read books in our local languages to collect more vocabulary and meaningful idioms so that our brains will be widened and wised. Because our local languages are our mother tongue so we should spend our time discovering more about it and make us more full of knowledge. Besides, we should also find more chances to use English such as watching films, reading books, and listening to music,…so that we can know more things about English and we can use it to communicate with more people from other countries. If we could do two tasks at the same time and successfully, we can be better at using languages not only local languages but also other languages. Second, we should join in local activities about telling history,…and so on. Therefore, we can understand more about our country and be proud of it. It’s also an inspiration for us to maintain and develop our local languages. For example, if we go to a history museum about wars, we can listen to stories about struggles between our country and others to protect our independence. Then, we can have more inspiration to learn a language. Finally, we should focus on our local language lessons at school because it is where you can discuss with your friends about your strength and weakness to improve and develop them if necessary. For example, when we learn a poem or a paragraph and we find it difficult to understand what things the writers want to bring us, we can ask our friends or teachers to give us the answers. In short, learning a language is important for us because it helps us expand our knowledge, especially learning both two languages. The most important thing you should do is that balance your time learning English and the local language. You shouldn’t catch up with the world by learning only English and forgetting your local languages.
