This chart shows the recycling rates of four different types of materials from 1982 to 2010 in a particular country. Materials include paper, plastic, metal and glass. The recycling rate of paper increased from about 10% in 1982 to about 40% in 2010. The recycling rate of plastics and metals also increased gradually during this period, while the recycling rate of glass remained steady. stable at about 20%. It can be seen that recycling of these materials has received increased attention and implementation in the country during the study period.

Learning English at school is often seen as more important than learning local languages. If these are not taught, many are at risk of dying out. 

In your opinion, is it important for everyone to learn English? Should we try to ensure the survival of local languages and, if so, how?

Learning English is important for everyone because it opens up many opportunities and benefits in modern life. English is an international language and is widely used in communication, business, education and many other fields. By learning English, people can access information, documents and opportunities to study and work globally.
However, ensuring the survival of local languages is also important. Local languages carry with them unique cultural values, traditions and perceptions. It is an important part of national identity and contributes to the diversity and richness of the world.
We can strive to ensure the survival of local languages by promoting their teaching and learning in the education system. We can also create programs and activities that encourage and respect the use of local languages in everyday life.
For example, we can organize cultural events, such as fairs, exhibitions and art performances, to celebrate and promote local languages. We can also encourage the writing and publishing of books, newspapers, and magazines in local languages to preserve and develop this language.
Learning English and preserving local languages are not two opposing concepts. They can coexist and are compatible with each other, contributing to the development and diversity of each country and community.
